MEET NIKO
Niko was born to Greek immigrant parents in New York and later moved to Connecticut, where he grew up in a culture of entrepreneurship and hard work. His parents built multiple successful businesses from the ground up, teaching Niko the importance of representing a brand and company from a young age. In 2007, he relocated to Orlando and thrived in the hospitality industry, contributing to several renowned establishments.
Niko's passion for fitness ignited after he lost over 40 pounds, transforming into what he proudly calls “Niko 2.0.” This personal journey led him to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM CPT). He began his career at the Rosen JCC, eventually advancing to the position of Fitness & Wellness Manager. During the pandemic, Niko adapted to challenges by moving to a small studio and achieving significant success. In his most recent role at Fitness CF, one of the largest and busiest gyms in Central Florida, he quickly became the most popular trainer at the Dr. Phillips location and ranked among the top three in personal training across the company's five locations within his first year.
Niko's unique combination of skills, cultivated through his upbringing and extensive hospitality experience, propelled his fitness and wellness career. He quickly built a robust book of business, earning a reputation for excellence and dedication. Known as “The Face of Fitness” at many of his establishments, Niko often says, “I don’t know everything about the gym, but I know 99.99% of it. My natural habitat is the gym.”
Living a healthy lifestyle involves many aspects outside the gym. Niko follows the 90/10 rule, eating high-protein, nutrient-dense foods 90% of the time and allowing himself to indulge the other 10% of the time. This flexible approach promotes a balanced diet and moderation rather than restrictive dieting, emphasizing that what you do most of the time has the greatest impact.
“Let’s make that other 98% count together and help YOU achieve YOUR own “2.0” transformation.”
How Most People Spend Their Week: In The Gym vs. Out Of The Gym
Niko also enjoys maintaining a well-rounded self-care routine. From relaxing and getting vitamin D at the beach to spending time on his skincare, he takes pride in having a modern and sleek look. Well-manicured and healthy features reflect the time and pride taken in maintaining one's appearance, which is essential for confidence and performance. He enjoys dressing well and staying trendy, often drawing inspiration from European style, which complements his Mediterranean heritage. When you look good, you feel good; when you feel good, you perform great.
After living a healthy lifestyle for over two decades and professionally coaching for over eight years, Niko is ready to take his passion for wellness and fitness online. With modern technology, online personal training has become a powerful tool for helping individuals worldwide get healthier and fitter. By utilizing your smartphone, smartwatch, and smart scale, he can receive real-time activity data to help keep you accountable in achieving your fitness goals.
Niko uses the “Trainerize” app to track clients’ progress and workouts and to keep them accountable. With its fitness, nutrition, and habit-coaching features, plus in-app messaging, it has everything you need to stay motivated and inspired. The app is user-friendly and simple to use, featuring how-to videos with Niko demonstrating the exercises.
Most people work out at a gym 2-3 times a week for around an hour—that’s only about 2% of your week. The other 98% is where real change happens—through daily habits, nutrition, and lifestyle choices. That's where Modern Fit Physiques comes in, providing you with the support, guidance, and accountability you need throughout your entire day, not just during your workouts. After being an in-person trainer for over eight years, Niko has realized that one of the easiest parts of a fitness journey is actually the gym workout; the hardest part is what we do outside the gym. Now, with modern technology and his guidance, the hardest part has become a bit easier. Niko is ready to bring his expertise and passion to your fitness journey. Let’s make that other 98% count together and help you achieve your own “2.0” transformation.

TRAINING
PHILOSOPHY
At Modern Fit Physiques, I believe that fitness is more than just a workout—it’s a lifestyle transformation. My approach is rooted in the understanding that every individual is unique, with distinct goals, challenges, and aspirations. That’s why I tailor each training program to fit the specific needs of my clients, ensuring that every plan is as unique as the person it’s designed for.
My philosophy centers around four core principles:
Functional Bodybuilding: I follow and incorporate a Functional Bodybuilding approach in my training programs. This method combines the best of both worlds: functional training that enhances your everyday movements and athletic performance, paired with a bodybuilding aesthetic that focuses on muscle development and physique. This balanced approach not only helps you look your best but also ensures that your body is strong, agile, and capable of performing at its peak in any situation.
Holistic Wellness: True fitness extends beyond the physical. It’s about achieving a balance between the mind, body, and lifestyle. I incorporate elements of nutrition, mental well-being, and sustainable habits into my programs to create a comprehensive approach that leads to lasting change.
Personal Empowerment: I empower my clients by providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their fitness journey. Through education and consistent support, I help clients build confidence and independence, so they can continue to thrive long after our sessions together.
Consistency and Accountability: Success in fitness comes from consistent effort and accountability. I foster a supportive environment where my clients feel motivated and encouraged to stay on track. Regular check-ins, progress monitoring, and personalized reminders are key components of my approach, ensuring that clients remain focused and driven toward their goals.
Ultimately, my goal is to help my clients not just achieve their fitness objectives, but to embrace a healthier, more active lifestyle that they can maintain for life. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your training to the next level, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.
